The spring/summer 2018 fashion trends call for bright, bold and really quite beautiful looks. In fact, it was a show season full of actual fashion moments. I’m talking about the kind where   even the coolest fashion critics reaching for this season’s trend. And the one catwalk that really set the tone, impressed everyone and just so happened to tick off almost every S/S 18 trend under the sun was, of course, Versace.

This was the kind of collection that deserves to be attached to the word iconic, and that makes sense once you know that the whole glamorous affair was a tribute to Gianni Versace at the 20-year mark of his untimely death. His bold vision and original supermodels came back to the fore once more, thanks to his sister Donatella Versace’s creative direction. Jaws dropped to the floor. Shopping lists were supercharged. Stylists and A-lists will have to fight it out for samples to wear before the collection lands in-store next year.

Pastel colours:

Pastel colours which make you look as pretty as an ice cream and the shades are sure to grab a definite second look. Your wardrobe is sure to have at least a hue of pink, green to yellow and purple.

Transparent:

Transparent is going nowhere this season too. A complete see-through is still standing this summer and ready or not, it’s going to set the stage apart with its latest range.

Rainbow:

When the red carpet was not in the hues of pastels, it was filled with colours and this season too is going to witness a bunch of colours thrown in which is in for a magical colour show that will make way for more attracted eyes this season.

Fenty Puma:

Bike shorts were set to be worn at day when Kim Kardashian wore a pair and the whole world set their eyes on her for more than once. A mid thigh shorts with a matchup no t shirt goes for a trending summer collection this season.

Day glow disco:

A sequin is never out of trend and this season it comes with a glam sham that is always a part of red carpet. A glow effects never so out of the league and also brings attitude to the ramp.
